What should I expect from my first session?
We will have a short discussion regarding your current concerns, health issues or how you feel Reiki would benefit you. You will then lay on a massage table with or without my BioMat and with or without a blanket to cover you. (You will be fully clothed.) I will place my hands in your Aura around your face and head (and if you are not comfortable with hands-on healing, I will work in your Aura for the entire treatment), and complete your treatment with hands-on energy healing. If you choose to add crystal healing, they will be placed on your body at each of your chakras and in your hands. If you wish to invite your angels to your treatment, I will do this prior to beginning your treatment. I will have relaxing music in the background and burn a candle of your choosing from my selection if you are not sensitive to scents.
Do you help treat terminal or chronic illness?
Reiki is not intended to replace traditional medicine, however, it most certainly can help with the symptoms, anxiety, fear and pain that often accompanies terminal or chronic illnesses. Reiki is a wonderful "partner" to your traditional health care.
How should I prepare for my first treatment?
If you choose to have a "Distance Reiki" session, I will reach out to you at the email address you provide and give you guidance on how best to prepare. If we are doing your treatment in person in my home, all you need to do is wear comfortable clothing and please wear a mask for safety. I will provide hand sanitizer and always wipe down my table with disinfecting wipes. If we are in your home, I ask that you have enough space for a full sized massage table that I can easily move around. I will need additional time to prepare the space in your home and get ready for your treatment.
